Oscar 2022: «The power of the Dog» va por 12 premios; ‘DUNE’ va por 10; también está DEL TORO, ‘Encanto». Estos son todos los nominados

«The Power of the Dog» arrasa con 12 nominaciones y «Dune» acumula 10 nominaciones incluyendo mejor película. La más reciente cinta de Guillermo del Toro va por mejor película y «Encanto» va por mejor película animada.

«The Power of the Dog», el poderoso western de Netflix escrito y dirigido por Jane Campion lidera los nominados al Oscar 2022 con 12 candidaturas incluyendo la de Mejor Película y Dirección. La cinta también le ha valido una nueva nominación a sus protagonistas Bennedict Cumberbatch, Jesse Plemons y Kirsten Dunst, quienes van por la estatuilla a Actor, Actor de Reparto y Actriz de Reparto, respectivamente.

La versión de «Duna» de Dennis Villeneuve le sigue con 10 con candidaturas incluyendo la de Mejor Película. «Belfast» y «West Side Story» acumularon un total de siete postulaciones a lo mejor del cine. El talento mexicano también repuntó pues entre los nominados al Oscar se incluyeron las cintas «El callejón de las almas perdidas», de Guillermo del Toro y «Raya y el último Dragón», codirigida por el mexicano Carlos López Estrada.

Otra gran sorpresa fue el anuncio de Kirsten Stewart entre las nominadas a mejor Actriz por su interpretación de Lady Di en «Spencer», una cinta que pese a ser aplaudida por la critica había escapado de muchas nominaciones importantes en la llamada temporada de premios.

La entrega 94 del Oscar se llevará a cabo el 27 de marzo y volverá al Teatro Dolby luego de que el año pasado se realizará sin público en Union Station debido a la pandemia.
